Description
Summary:•Developed a new series of yellow inorganic pigments.•Possess high solar reflectance (87%).•Synthesized by sol-gel hydrothermal method at 150 °C for 24 h.•The band gap of developed nano-pigments changes from 2.89 to 2.58 eV. A new series of yellow inorganic pigments possessing high solar reflectance based on bismuth doped cerium dioxide was synthesized by sol-gel hydrothermal method at 150 °C for 24 h. The band gap of developed nano-pigments changes from 2.89 to 2.58 eV, displaying colors ranging from pale yellow to bright yellow.
