Summary:A new conjugate of 24-epicastasterone and the Eu 3+ complex was synthesized and used to develop a test system for competitive lanthanide immunofluorescent assay of 24-epibrassinosteroids in plants. The test system was used for quantitative determination of this group of brassinosteroids in 10-day winter-wheat sprouts. The results were comparable to those of actual and two-step enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays
