Description
Summary:In His historical review on Microwave Theory and Techniques (MTT) Symposia, 1 our respected colleague the late Theodore S. Saad stated that “Whereas the 1957 Symposium was designated the first annual Symposium of MTT, in reality, it was the climax of a series of microwave meetings that had been held on the East Coast, primarily in the New York City area. The first of the Annual Symposia as we know them today was undoubtedly the meeting that took place in May 1958 at Stanford University, Stanford, CA, USA.” The 2018 IEEE MTT Society International Microwave Symposium (IMS), which was held on June 10–15, 2018, in Philadelphia, PA, USA, has celebrated the actual 60th anniversary of the MTT Annual Symposia.
