Summary: | It was established that the influence of the microwave electromagnetic field of small and average specific power on aramid filaments makes it possible to increase longitudinal rupture strength by up to a factor of 2 and the resistance to transverse loading by up to 18%. A significant reduction in the fiber stratification of aramid filaments treated in the electromagnetic field after the effect of the breaking load has been found. The obtained results allow one to predict the improvement of operational characteristics of both individual protection means of the 1st and 2nd class and the structural elements of aviation equipment, in particular, light helicopters, based on aramid-reinforced composites. |
