Summary: | The article considers a computational and experimental method of durability prediction with the specified probability of non-failure (90%…99%), which makes it possible to estimate the residual life of a pipeline in the time range when the loading of the pipeline is an additive random process, taking into account the specific features of loading the gas pipeline in operating conditions based on the apparatus of nonparametric statistics, the kinetic theory of mechanical fatigue and original means of recording fatigue damages – variable sensitivity strain gauges. |
