Summary:Sahely et al offer a response on T. Bridle's comments on their paper, a rational procedure for estimation of greenhouse-gas emissions (GHG) from municipal wastewater treatment plants. On a follow-up work, Sahely et al developed the protocol requested by Bridle for upstream emissions and found, for Canadian municipal wastewater treatment facilities, that upstream emissions were on average 49% of the on-site plant GHG emissions.
