A Note on Planetary Tables and a Planetary Conjunction in "Troilus and Criseyde"
The planetary conjunction described in Geoffrey Chaucer's "Troilus and Criseyde" has been problematic for ages. A new examination of planetary tables suggests the conjunction in dispute actually occurred on May 12, 1385.
