Transfection of the CD20 cell surface molecule into ectopic cell types generates a Ca(2plus) conductance found constitutively in B lymphocytes

The hypothesis that CD20 mediates a plasma membrane ionic conductance in B lymphocytes was examined. The findings demonstrate that CD20 plays a direct role in the regulation of transmembrane conductive Ca2plus flux.
