Phosphorescent Complexes of Porphyrin Ketones: Optical Properties and Application to Oxygen Sensing

A new class of dyes, platinum(II) and palladium(II) complexes of the porphyrin ketones, that exhibits strong phosphorescence at room temperature is described.
