Highly Sensitive Detection of Aromatic Molecules by Laser Two-Photon Ionization on the Surface of Water in Ambient Air

A laser two-photon ionization technique for the determination of aromatics on the surface of water in ambient air is described. The method is applicable to use in polar solvents in which photoionization methods are difficult to apply.
