Summary:An abstract of a study by Poddar et al determining whether students were aware of current recommendations for dairy intake and could identify dairy products and identifying barriers, motivators and facilitators for consuming dairy products, is presented. Results show that there was widespread lack of clarity regarding amount of dairy/calcium required and whether students felt they were getting enough.
