An Exceptional Woman

Bessie Flannery Gabbard, the first women initiated by Phi Delta Kappa International, died on Fed 10, 2001 at the age of 95. Gabbard served as chairperson of the Phi Delta Kappa Educational Foundation Board of Governors for nearly two decades.
