Summary: | Psoas abscess complicating Crohn's disease is an established but relatively rare condition that can present a difficult management problem. A high index of suspicion is paramount in early diagnosis and advances in therapeutic imaging techniques may allow a non‐operative approach in the initial treatment plan. We also advocate consideration of definitive surgical management if suitable. We present one such case and a review of the literature. |
