Summary:There are a variety of contractual arrangements that have been developed for construction projects. These project delivery systems may be considered to be an approach by which owners, designers, and contractors make decisions, provide services, and execute the necessary work to deliver construction projects. The term "project delivery system" describes the organization of the parties involved and the structure necessary to transform the client's goals and objectives into a completed facility. This paper investigates the application of one such project delivery system, public private partnerships, in China.
