Description
Summary:Many organizations now realize that playful creativity and meaningful work can be combined to produce exceptional results. Having fun at work increases creativity, productivity, job satisfaction, and retention of talented people. Fun liberates creative ideas by reducing stress and taking us out of already knowing mindsets. Play allows us to experiment and stretch beyond preconceptions without fear of negative consequences. Having fun with others is a powerful source of invention because it opens us to diverse views and allows us to experiment with new possibilities and expanded visions of what is possible. To maximize creativity and innovation, more playtime should be scheduled into work and life. A toy box should be kept in the office or work area. Something outrageous should be done at work at least once a week.
