The disparaged relations between India and Pakistan due to Kashmir with a colonial legacy have kept the entire region starved of peace. Conflict (in case of Pakistan) or no conflict (in case of India by not accepting Kashmir as a disputed territory) is a foregone issue. Now the resolution strategies for Kashmir, adopted by India and Pakistan, have further intricated the already complex issue. Moreover, lack of communication enhances a conflict. Both countries have failed in keeping communication to reach to a common point to begin the resolution of conflict-Kashmir. Thus, in a time, when both countries are not interacting cooperatively, their engagement in conflict resolution strategies will muster remedy of Kashmir.
