Summary:The paper describes the software and hardware implementation for control method of contract (pointed) welding. An algorithm for processing the projections of an investigative object necessary for the implementation of the proposed method is considered. The results of determining the depth of the core of a welded joint, as the most important parameter of welding quality, are presented. The miscarriage of the method is estimated.
