Description
Summary:In article number 1804890, Zhi Zhu and co‐workers realize visual quantitative detection of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) using a portable volumetric bar chart chip (V‐Chip) with singlecell sensitivity. The target CTCs are labeled with aptamer conjugated nanoparticles that can catalyze the generation of oxygen for the movement of an ink bar in the V‐Chip. The CTC number is quantified by the distance of the ink bar visually. This portable detection method shows great potential for quantification of rare cells with single‐cell sensitivity for various applications.
