Summary:Grabowics rationalizes that if the Polish-Ukranian perceptions of Lviv/Lwow can be seen as minor images of each other, then their corollary is an inverse relationship in the development of the theme of the city in the respective literatures. He sums up that the respective periods of growth and decline seem to be directly and inversely proportional--reflecting the political and social realia of the times.
