The Thutmosis I Inscription near Tomâs
Available information about the reign of Thutmosis I, the first Pharaoh to rule territory stretching from Hagar el-Merowe south of the Fourth Cataract to the bank of the Euphrates, is meager. A text of Thutmosis I near the island of Tomas dating to his second year is presented and analyzed.
