Summary:We disclose a catalyst-free method to synthesize 1,2,3-triazoles rapidly via an oxidative N–N coupling strategy. Of particular note is that the one-step synthesis route to access [1,2,3]triazolo[1,5-a]pyridines from pyridin-2-ylmethanamine has been reported for the first time. This approach features no use of catalyst, extremely mild conditions and excellent efficiency.
