Quinolone-resistant Neisseria gonorrhoeae: The beginning of the end?

A study of gonococcal isolates from the southwestern GISP region found a low number (0.34%) of 12,761 isolates with reduced susceptibility to ofloxacin and ciprofloxacin. Four isolates showed resistance to ofloxacin and ciprofloxacin.
