Description
Summary:In the present paper, we have considered the effect of a change in characteristics of a sound-absorbing filler in a glass-fiber-reinforced honeycomb layer on acoustic properties of sound-absorbing structures in the noise suppression system of engines. At that, the size and strengths parameters of the structure itself have no changes. This makes it possible to tune the acoustic characteristics at final stages of the engine development without necessity of any design changes, which considerably simplifies a process.
