Description
Summary:The paper proposes a mathematical model of a multistage laser based on three- and four-level active media in the plane-wave approximation. The model can be used to analyze the generation of radiation in a laser source in the presence of interstage couplings taking into account the actual quality of the optical path elements. The calculation of the pulse parameters for YAG:Nd and YSGG:Cr:Nd laser oscillators depending on the pump power is presented. The obtained results can be used to solve the problems of complex laser optimization and determine the requirements for interstage decoupling nodes.
