Summary:The synthesis of aluminoborosilicate CON-type zeolite is achieved by employing tetraethylammonium hydroxide as a simple organic structure-directing agent and as-synthesized CIT-1 seed crystals in the (Na, K)-containing gel. The structural and chemical characterizations revealed that this newly obtained CON-TEA product has comparable features to conventional CIT-1.
