Summary:The study is descriptive, retrospective with the objective of determining the morbidity and mortality of nosocomial infections in the intensive care unit of the IESS Babahoyo Hospital, January 2018-February 2018. An educational strategy was elaborated based on a Prevention Workshop of the Nosocomial infection as well as the elaboration and diffusion of a didactic material on the prevention measures; in this regard, to reduce the incidence of nosocomial infection in the ICU of the IESS Babahoyo Hospital.
