Summary:The article presents the proposal of a didactic strategy for the orthographic prevention, which stimulates the orthographic awareness that the primary student should manifest in the respect and care of using the Spanish language. The didactic strategy is based on a didactic model of orthographic prevention that potentiates the productivity of thought, the memory of meaning understanding, involuntary attention, motivation and willness towards a correct observance in fulfilling the orthographic rules. It contributes highly to the formation of the orthographic abilities. This result is a product of an educational research.
