Summary:Human capital and the intellectual capital of the organization represented by them, is its most valuable resource. The purpose of the article was to diagnose personnel fluctuations in construction companies in selected European countries. The analysis of statistical data has been used in the work. The article characterizes the problem of personnel fluctuation and the consequences connected with it. Human resource has been presented as a factor determining the competitive advantage of the organization, in particular construction companies. The basic indicators regarding human resources fluctuation has been presented, such as: staff turnover, employment rate, dismissal rate. The article ends with conclusions from the analysis regarding personnel needs in construction companies.
