Description
Summary:Neutron spin echo technique is essential for high resolution inelastic and quasi-elastic neutron scattering experiments. We have developed a neutron resonance spin echo (NRSE) spectrometer at BL06 in Materials and Life Science Experimental Facility (MLF), Japan Proton Accelerator Research Complex (J-PARC), and installed a pair of 900 mm long ellipsoidal focusing m = 5 supermirrors with 2.5 m focal length. In this manuscript, we report the first result of time-of-flight neutron spin echo signals by the NRSE instrument.
