Summary:The transfer matrix approach has been applied to investigate the tunable multichannel filter characteristics of defect mode in one-dimensional plasma photonic heterostructure. The proposed heterostructure has been composed of two sub-PCs made up of magnetized cold plasma and quartz glass layers with period number N = 2. The transmission spectra of this structure possess three transmission peaks which are governed by the relation 3N-3. These com-like transmission peaks can be further tuned toward right or left based on the suitable value of magnetic field, applied externally.
