Analysis of coal-water fuel flow structure in the process of coaxial spraying

Results of experimental studies of coaxial atomization process of slurry fuel with plasticizer in aerodynamic simulator of an energy boiler furnace are presented. Values f the characteristic sizes of spray cone zones have been established: core, middle and outer zones. Ranges of velocities and sizes...

description Results of experimental studies of coaxial atomization process of slurry fuel with plasticizer in aerodynamic simulator of an energy boiler furnace are presented. Values f the characteristic sizes of spray cone zones have been established: core, middle and outer zones. Ranges of velocities and sizes of droplets in the flow at pressure of 0.4 MPa (slurry fuel) and 0.38 MPa (air) have been determined. Quantitative values of slurry fuel droplets with different velocities in the process of its coaxial spraying have been obtained.
