Summary: | The test results obtained was analyzed by One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) (SPSS 16.0 program) indicating that the antidepressant effect shown in the extract dose of 100 mg/kg bw and 200 mg/kg bw. In Indonesia, based on the results of the 2013 Ministry of Health's Basic Health Research, the prevalence of mental emotional disorders indicated by symptoms of depression and anxiety at the age of 15 years and over reached around 14 million people or 6% of the population4. In the three test parameters the test animals were mice divided into 5 groups, namely the negative control group (Na.CMC 3%), the comparison group (diazepam 0.0052 mg/kg bw), extract group 100 mg/kg bw, extract group 200 mg/kg bw, and the extract group 400 mg/kg bw. From this observation, it can be seen that the group of test animals given the negative control preparation (Na.CMC 3%) experienced rearing with a greater number in line with the provision of an external preparation of 400 mg/kg bw, and significantly different from the test preparation in the positive control group), the exact dose of 100 mg/kg bw, and the extract dose of 200 mg/kg bw showed a significant difference (p |
