Summary: | This work investigates the improvement of transmittance dynamic and response time of low viscosity nematic liquid crystals, combined with neutral dichroic dyes, by the addition of chiral dopants, while maintaining a low Haze value. We present some experimental results showing the impact of the addition of these chiral dopants on both dichroic efficiency, switching time, and scattering, obtained from a benchmark of various commercially available liquid crystal mixtures. |
