Summary: | One of the approaches to augment the solar cell efficiency is taking advantage of photon converting processes such as up-conversion (UC), down-conversion (DC) and down-shifting (DS). Herein, the numerical simulations of DS converting layers based on two different kinds of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) are presented. The numerical models have been elaborated basing on the measured photoluminescent and optical properties of these layers. |
