A comparison of planar convex dielectric lens loaded flat reflector with parabolic reflector and reflectarray
In this article, experimental demonstration in the X‐band of a flat reflector backed dielectric lens is reported. Equivalence between the reflector‐lens and parabolic reflector of equivalent cross‐section is shown by comparing their radiation characteristics. The reflector‐lens is also compared with...

Summary: | In this article, experimental demonstration in the X‐band of a flat reflector backed dielectric lens is reported. Equivalence between the reflector‐lens and parabolic reflector of equivalent cross‐section is shown by comparing their radiation characteristics. The reflector‐lens is also compared with a reflectarray resonating at 10 GHz, and their radiation patterns show good match at this frequency. |
