Description
Summary:—The behavior of the titanium alloy VT6 during hot forging conditions is investigated. Constitutive equations, friction conditions, and the model of microstructure evolution are found. Phase transformations are described by the Johnson–Mehl–Avrami–Kolmogorov (JMAK) model. The work focused on providing the stability of mechanical properties of rings made of the titanium alloy VT6 by obtaining a globular structure by choosing the proper modes of forming the technological process.
