Description
Summary:Nutrition educators are actively developing electronic media as an inexpensive way to reach target audiences without knowing the access of limited resource individuals to DVD and VHS players and computers. Here, an abstract of Corda et al's study that tested the assumptions of access with a representative sample in New Jersey is presented. This study suggests that the distribution of electronic media via DVD is the best media method to reach limited resource audiences, as compared to VHS or Internet. However, computer ownership and Internet access should continue to be monitored.
