Summary:Great success have been achieved in special‐shaped panel with high PPI and small size for their aesthetic appearance. However huge progress in arc design of relatively large TV panel has not been made yet. In this paper we tried different arc design scheme in a 70 PPI LCD panel and established an effective method to evaluate the smoothness of arc corner. In accordance of the calculation and the survey results we put forward a new combining arc design scheme for TV panel with relatively low PPI.
