Description
Summary:A study to examine the performance of the TrailMaster 500 infrared sensors in monitoring activity of animals is described. The objectives were to determine if the sensors operate reliably in the field over long periods and in varying environmental conditions, measure activity of captive coyotes as accurately as an observer, log coyote activity during any type of movement or stance, and have a liberal or conservative detection bias.
