Description
Summary:Titanium boride-based layered composites on VT6 (Ti6Al4V) titanium alloy were produced for the first time by free SHS compression, a method combining combustion and high-temperature shear deformation. A layered structure of the obtained material was determined, and a structural feature of the transition zone at the ceramic composite–titanium alloy interface was studied.
