Combining synthetic potentialities of multicomponent reactions (MCRs) with the dual properties of ionic liquids (ILs) as solvents and catalysts results in the emergence of promising strategies for the growth of costly ecocompatible organic synthesis procedures. Here, we have reported a facile tandem protocol for the synthesis of thiouracilodepsipeptides from the reaction of thiouracil, 2‐chloroacetic acid derivatives, ketones, and isocyanides in ionic liquid as green media. |
