Summary:As former Student Members of the IEEE, the Executive Committee of the IEEE Young Professionals Portugal affinity group is well aware of the benefits that the IEEE offers to students: guidance, technical and soft skills training, and camaraderie, among many others. We want to focus on the benefits the IEEE brings to young professionals (YPs) like us. Some aspects don?t matter as much now that we're no longer students, and some issues become more important now than they were back in college.
