Summary: | The paper is devoted to a numerical analysis of the macroscopic mechanical characteristics of samples manufactured by electron-beam additive technology (3D printing) with metal wire. The results of computer simulation showed a pronounced anisotropy of the inelastic behavior of 3D printed samples and the dependence of their mechanical properties on the direction of wire deposition and on the width and mechanical characteristics of the layer interface zones. We empirically derived relations that make it possible to estimate the necessary parameters of interlayer interfaces (including yield stress and strain hardening modulus) to achieve the required mechanical characteristics of the product. |
