Transcriptional control of the murine polymeric IgA receptor promoter by glucocorticoids

Glucocorticoids have been implicated as an important regulator of intestinal epithelial cell ontogeny. The polymeric IgA receptor (pIgR) is expressed in the intestinal epithelial layer and is regulated by several mediators, including glucocorticoids.
