Summary: | This article presents two realizations of portable systems for motion-induced eddy-current testing using the rotational movement of permanent magnets (absolute and differential). The methodology of calculations using a quasi-stationary and transient approach in the finite-element method (FEM) is described in detail. Different procedures for calculating the induced voltage in the pick-up coils are also presented. Finally, the results of the measurements and the corresponding numerical simulations are analyzed. |
