Feminism in Cuba: Report from the Third Conference of North American and Cuban Philosophers

Women are a major presence in philosophy in Cuba. Hard economic conditions have hit Cuba at a time when openness to new ideas is noticeable among Cubans of all ages. A conference for North American and Cuban philosophers was held near Havana on May 31-Jun 11, 1991.
