Summary: | The article focuses on the changes in legal academy in Brazil, linking the increase in the participation of women and difference among the professoriate, with the fragmentation of institutional models, regional distribution of schools, type of labor agreement and higher titration of faculty members. It examines how such dislocations are articulated with professional identifications and their intersections, as well as the play to produce the center and to decenter the canonical knowledge and established groups. The research gathers data from the 2015 National Census of Higher Education, Inep, and from qualitative fieldwork, interviewing male and female professors of six Brazilian Law schools. |
