The Authors Named Pherecydes
Fowler offers an examination of D. L. Toye's argument that the fragments Felix Jacoby edited as FGrHist 3 and the fragments normally assigned to the philosopher Pherecydes come from the same book and the same author. It is concluded that Jacoby's notions were correct.
