Summary:The research program of the dynamics and ecosystem of the Drake Passage and Scotia Sea is scientifically substantiated. Measurements will be carried out by the interdepartmental expedition of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the participation of nine institutes aboard the the R/V Akademik Mstislav Keldysh . The research will be based on study of the functioning of the Antarctic marine ecosystem and measurements in the Antarctic Circumpolar Current.
