Predicting Mechanical Properties and Hand Values from the Parameters of Weave Structures1

The yarns are 5.9 tex cotton for the warp and 8.3 tex/24f polyester filament for the weft. The ten fabric samples with different weave structures include a plain weave, a 2/2 twill weave, a 5-harness satin weave, a crape weave, a huck-a-back weave, a special honeycomb weave, a sponge weave, a granit...

Description
Summary:The yarns are 5.9 tex cotton for the warp and 8.3 tex/24f polyester filament for the weft. The ten fabric samples with different weave structures include a plain weave, a 2/2 twill weave, a 5-harness satin weave, a crape weave, a huck-a-back weave, a special honeycomb weave, a sponge weave, a granite weave, a dice weave, and a 10-harness satin weave. All the samples are single fabrics in which only the textile structure changes and they have the same yarn and weave densities (4720/m warp, 3350/m weft).
